Food was tasty and priced fairly in this little downtown restaurant. I will come back for sure. I had visitors with me from out of town and we all found something we enjoyed. Thanks

I used to love this place. I grew up in the area and still travel there several times a year. It was convenient to stop there on my way out to grab my dinner. I liked their homemade fries and the burgers were pretty good. Something has changed though because now they are picking and choosing their customers. Two different times I was told they could not serve me because I was not dining in. You would think that would make them happy because they can sell me food plus use the booth for another paying customer. I told them that I didn't expect my food faster than the people dining in, but that I didn't 30 minutes to waste waiting for the food and then be expected to sit and eat it for another 30 minutes or so when I could grab the food and eat it as I drove. It does not matter, they only want dining in customers. I'm assuming because the waitresses lose out on tips? Otherwise, that makes no sense and I have never heard of diners turning down customers before. The bottom line is that I will never eat there again and I no longer recommend to people visiting the area.

Ended up here because the place we were headed for was closed. What a lucky break for us! The service was fast enjoyable and personable- we were told all the waitstaff were great. I don't often get fish so far inland but with the waitress's assurance I went for it. Tasted like the coast of Maine to me. My wife enjoyed a soup and egg salad sandwich and was also impressed. We topped the meal off with slices of pie which was the cherry on this dining experience. Moderately priced - easy parking ( an RV) and right on the main drag downtown. Easy 5 stars
